Flattering review in the Rhein Neckar Zeitung

The exquisite and harmonious “Meccores” and their soon-to-be-released complete recording of Tchaikovsky’s quartets, should be considered a whole new reference point. At least, the D major op. 11 of the Russian master, notoriously underrated in chamber music, can hardly ever be heard in such a beautiful interpretation […]. Above all, the heart-melting Andante and the irresistibly brilliant and unleashed final movement were especially impressive. Tchaikovsky can and must sound so classy, kitsch-free and unsentimental as in Meccore String Quartet’s performance.
